Blinkit delivery partner salary and how to join

Updated October 2026

Blinkit says its delivery partners can earn up to ₹50,000 a month including incentives, paid every 7 days. You sign up at blinkit.com/delivery or in the Blinkit rider app. You need your own two-wheeler and an Android phone, and Blinkit charges a one-time joining fee during onboarding.

Riders work from Blinkit dark stores in 467 cities.

How much does a Blinkit delivery partner earn?

Blinkit publishes no typical monthly pay. Its own figure and what riders say differ a lot, so each one is shown with who gave it.

Blinkit figure The same “up to ₹50,000” ceiling was quoted in June 2025, with a choice of 4, 8 or 10-hour shifts.
What riders said (older) In April 2023 Delhi-NCR riders said a new distance-based system paid ₹7–18 per delivery, down from about ₹50. The claim is more than three years old, and rates have changed since.
Labour researchers Take-home earnings can fall below the local minimum wage once fuel and other costs are counted.

None of these figures is guaranteed. Take-home pay depends on your hours, city, incentives, fuel and vehicle costs, and nobody publishes a typical figure after costs.

How Blinkit delivery pay works

Blinkit pays per order, not a fixed salary. Its sign-up page sets out the parts:

How to join Blinkit as a delivery partner

  1. Open blinkit.com/delivery, Blinkit’s official sign-up page, and enter your name, phone number and city, or download the rider app from the link on that page.
  2. Keep your documents ready.
  3. Complete the background check and training. Ask which store you will be attached to and which shifts are open.
  4. Read the pay terms in the app before your first shift: the per-order rate, distance and weight extras, incentive targets and any deductions.
  5. Check that your details are on the government’s e-Shram portal, so you can claim gig-worker benefits.

What a Blinkit delivery shift is like

Riders can choose 4, 8 or 10-hour shifts. You log in near the Blinkit store you are attached to, the store team packs each order, and you collect the bag and ride it to a customer nearby before heading back for the next one.

The number of orders in your slot decides what you earn. Ask the store which slots are busiest before you book, and what the incentive target is for each one.

Insurance and social security for Blinkit riders

The national Code on Social Security adds a government benefit scheme on top of any company cover, and Karnataka and Telangana have their own gig-worker laws on notice, pay and deductions that apply to Blinkit riders too (Blinkit has 233 stores in Karnataka and 128 stores in Telangana). Who qualifies and what each law says is on gig workers’ rights in quick commerce.

How to avoid fake Blinkit delivery job offers

Fake delivery-job sites use app names to collect “registration” fees. In August 2025 the Delhi High Court ordered fake Zepto job sites such as zeptojob.com and zeptojobs.in taken down. Never pay a person or a personal UPI ID for a job, and report job fraud on 1930 or at cybercrime.gov.in.

Frequently asked questions about Blinkit delivery partner jobs

Do I have to pay money to get a Blinkit delivery job?

Blinkit’s own sign-up page says a one-time joining fee is collected during onboarding for training and support, with details shared at the interview. It gives no amount. That fee is part of Blinkit’s own onboarding, after you apply on blinkit.com/delivery or in its rider app. Never pay a person, a WhatsApp “HR manager”, a personal UPI ID or a website outside blinkit.com to get or “confirm” the job.

Can I work part-time as a Blinkit delivery partner?

Yes. Riders can pick 4, 8 or 10-hour shifts, so a short shift around college or another job is possible. Your earnings will be lower, because pay is per order and most incentives need a set number of deliveries.
