Why Zepto has no regular quarterly results
Zepto is a private company, so it does not have to publish results every quarter the way Eternal and Swiggy do. Every figure on the Zepto results page comes from its IPO papers, which run to March 2026.
Zepto uses net receivables value (NRV) for the value of orders it handles. Blinkit uses NOV and Instamart GOV, so set the three side by side only on orders, stores and losses.
Zepto vs Blinkit vs Instamart in the same quarter (January–March 2026)
January–March 2026 is the latest quarter with figures for all three, so it is the fairest place to line them up.
| Company | Orders a day | Adjusted EBITDA (₹ cr) | Stores at 31 Mar 2026 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Blinkit results | about 30.4 lakh | +37 | 2,243 |
| Instamart results | about 12.5 lakh | −858 | 1,143 |
| Zepto | 23.3 lakh | −1,248 | 1,139 |
Orders a day for Blinkit and Instamart are the quarter’s orders divided by 90 days. Zepto handled more orders per store than either rival but lost the most money.
What changed in Zepto’s business
- Losses per order fell: adjusted EBITDA loss per order narrowed from ₹110 to ₹59 between July–September 2025 and January–March 2026, and total cost per order from ₹181 to ₹128.
- Store productivity: about 2,140 orders per store per day in January–March 2026, the highest of the three.
- Franchise stores: 36.6% of Zepto’s stores were run by “Growth Partners” at the end of FY26.
- Cash burn: quarterly burn fell from over ₹900 crore to about ₹700 crore by July 2026, when Zepto put its IPO on hold and chose to raise more than ₹1,000 crore from existing investors instead.
